Special Issues
Special Issues associated with ESAT 2027
To further highlight the scientific contributions presented at ESAT 2027, participants will have the opportunity to submit extended versions of selected works to dedicated Special Issues in three international journals covering thermodynamics, phase equilibria and related fields.
These Special Issues will provide authors with the opportunity to develop the work presented during the conference into full-length research articles. All submitted manuscripts will undergo the journals’ standard peer-review process and will be considered in accordance with their usual editorial criteria.
Fluid Phase Equilibria
ESAT 2027 will also be associated with a Special Issue of Fluid Phase Equilibria, one of the journals historically closely connected with the European Symposium on Applied Thermodynamics community.
The Special Issue will feature selected contributions from ESAT 2027 and will provide authors with the opportunity to develop their conference work into full research papers addressing topics such as phase equilibria, thermodynamic modelling, equations of state, molecular thermodynamics, thermophysical properties and related areas.
Prof. Jean-Noël Jaubert and Prof. Romain Privat will serve as Guest Editors for the Special Issue, in collaboration with the editorial team of Fluid Phase Equilibria.
All manuscripts will follow the journal’s standard editorial and peer-review procedures. Further information regarding the Special Issue, submission process and deadlines will be communicated to conference participants as soon as the dedicated publication page becomes available.
Entropy
A dedicated Special Issue of Entropy, entitled “Selected Papers from the 35th European Symposium on Applied Thermodynamics”, has been established in connection with ESAT 2027.
The Special Issue will welcome extended and fully developed versions of selected contributions presented at the conference, covering the broad range of topics addressed by the ESAT community, including thermodynamics, phase equilibria, molecular modelling, equations of state, transport phenomena and related areas.
Prof. Dr. Jean-Noël Jaubert and Prof. Dr. Romain Privat will serve as Guest Editors for this Special Issue.
Authors interested in contributing are invited to prepare a substantially developed manuscript based on their conference contribution. Manuscripts will be evaluated according to the journal’s usual editorial and peer-review procedures.
More information and submission details will be available through the dedicated Entropy Special Issue webpage.
Thermo
A Special Issue of Thermo will also be dedicated to selected contributions from ESAT 2027.
This Special Issue will provide participants with an additional opportunity to publish extended research arising from work presented during the symposium, particularly in the fields of applied thermodynamics, thermophysical properties, phase behaviour, modelling and experimental thermodynamics.
Submitted manuscripts should represent a significant extension of the work presented at the conference and will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process.
The dedicated Special Issue webpage is currently being prepared and further information concerning its scope, Guest Editors and submission procedure will be announced shortly.
