History of ESAT

History of ESAT

ESAT started, in Berlin (West), in 1974, under the initiative of Professor Helmut Knapp. Since then, ESAT has been hosted, for more than 50 years, by Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western European countries to represent the diversity and richness of cultures.

ESAT is a European Symposium on Applied Thermodynamics conference. In 2027, France will have the honor of hosting ESAT for the fifth time.
